A tax transcript is a copy of the tax return that you filed with the IRS. There are four types of Business Tax Transcripts.
- Tax return transcript: represents a copy of your return, including related schedules and forms.
- Tax account transcript: Shows changes to your account such as refunds, federal tax deposits, payments, penalties and interest, balance due with accruals, and return filing date and processed date.
- Record of account transcript: Show a combination of Tax return transcript and Tax account transcript
- Entity transcript: Shows information on record about your business, such as employer identification number (EIN), current name, address and filing requirements of the business.
